PHOTOGRAPHY: SAME OLD STORY

The 2015/2016 English football season is officially under way and, although it's early days, it is clear that Queens Parks Rangers are not  going to have the easiest of seasons back in the Championship. The first match of the season was against Charlton Athletic at The Valley. The stadium, rather surprisingly, was half empty, so had all the atmosphere of a library, but at least the sun actually showed its face.

QPR started the match very brightly, but could not translate early dominance into goals, which ultimately cost them very dear. The first half ended 0-0, but the second half was a very one-sided affair with the home side scoring twice. To say that QPR were sloppy, uninventive and lacked any kind of urgency is an understatement, but - then again - that is nothing new. 45 more games to go and probably 45 games of suffering, frustration and disappointment. Oh the joy!
