The photo above was taken on the descent into Kallax Airport in Luleå. It was about 9:30am and the sun was just beginning to rise, but you can make out the pine forests and the many inlets of the Bay of Bothnia (Botten Viken), some of which were frozen over. This view alone was worth the airfare.
