PHOTOGRAPHY: THE STEALTH HUNTER

Herons are masters at stealth hunting. They can remain motionless for a long time (to the point where you question if they are actually real) and when they fix in on their target, slowly but surely move into attack mode. The one in the photos below was seen in a pond in the Italian Gardens in Kensington Gardens.
